Design: eBay Drive Checkout
![]()
Summary: Project clarified primary next steps for eBay users after an auction was one or an item purchased.
Problem context: Because purchase (winning an auction, or clicking "buy it now") is separate from actual payment in the eBay world, it can be confusing for users to understand what they're supposed to do "next" in the process of procuring an item.
Project goal: Make it clear to users what their "next step" in the purchase process is for any given interaction (viewing a won item, receiving an invoice, etc). Additionally, drive users to use the eBay checkout process, driving down unpaid items.
Target audience: eBay buyers and sellers.
